Test/Hazard Perception Test
You
do not have to pass the test before you can start learning how to drive but
this must be passed before you are able to sit the practical test. The
tests are screen based and there is no requirement for writing and you are
not asked question by an examiner. The
first part of the test requires you to answer multiple choice questions and
consists of 50 questions. You are given 50 minutes to answer the questions
and this is completed by touch screen technology. The
second part of the test is the hazard perception. A series of film clips are
shown on the computer screen from a drivers angle. You must use a mouse to
click on the screen as soon as you see a potential hazard develop. The
hazard perception test lasts 20 minutes. You
must score 43 out of 50 for the first part of the test and 44 points for the
second part. If
you are hard of hearing, deaf or suffer from dyslexia we can help make
special arrangement for you at the test centre. |
